“We hired Brittney for our wedding in Cincinnati in August. Not only were our engagement photos amazing and perfect for the event but Brittney was amazing to work with as well. When it came to preparing for the big day, we had multiple meetings with Brittney and she was able to prepare accordingly and make sure our day was perfect for us. The photos that we have gotten back so far have been great, we can not wait to see the rest including the video. Brittney made sure we captured our big day in the most “us” way and we could not recommend a better photographer. Having been in plenty of weddings and even officiating a few, Brittney is by far the best when it comes to this. If you’re in Indy, STL, Cincy, Louisville, Lexington, Chicago, or any small town in the midwest, Brittney is your girl.” – Nick
Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a breathtaking wedding at The View at Mt. Adams, hosted by the talented team at Delight More Events. This day was filled with unique details, from a stunning string quartet performance to a gelato-filled finale. Here’s a glimpse into this unforgettable celebration.
The Venue: The View at Mt. Adams
The View at Mt. Adams is aptly named—offering panoramic views of Cincinnati that make it an ideal location for a wedding. With its blend of modern elegance and natural beauty, it provided the perfect setting for Josie & Nick to tie the knot under their breathtaking chandelier.
Getting Ready: The Morning Calm
The day began with Josie and her bridal party getting ready in the venue’s luxurious suite. The room buzzed with excitement as the bridesmaids helped Josie into her gorgeous dress. Every detail was perfect, from the delicate lace of her gown to the soft Hollywood style curls in her hair.
The Ceremony: A Symphony of Love
Held on the terrace overlooking the city, the ceremony was nothing short of spectacular. As Josie walked down the aisle, the atmosphere was elevated by the beautiful music of String Source, whose string quartet filled the air with melodic harmonies. The moment she appeared, the quartet played softly, creating a fairytale-like ambiance that perfectly complemented the emotional scene.
After exchanging heartfelt vows, the couple walked back down the aisle to a joyous rendition of “Super Trooper” by ABBA, played by the quartet. The cheerful, upbeat melody matched the celebratory mood, marking the start of their new life together.
The Reception: A Night to Remember
The reception at The View was a feast for the senses. The stunning décor, curated by Delight More Events, transformed the space into a romantic wonderland. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal followed by an exquisite cake from The Bonbonerie, known for their intricate designs and decadent flavors.
The Blue Water Kings Band kept the energy high throughout the night, playing a mix of classics and contemporary hits that had everyone on the dance floor. From the couple’s first dance to the final song of the night, the band ensured the celebration was one to remember.
Golden Hour: Perfect Portraits
As the sun began to set, I captured some intimate portraits of the bride and groom against the backdrop of the Cincinnati skyline. The golden light added a romantic glow to the photos, perfectly highlighting the love between the newlyweds. These golden hour shots are always a highlight, and these were no exception.
Sweet Endings: Gelato from Golden Gelato
To top off the night, guests were treated to delicious gelato from Golden Gelato, a sweet and refreshing end to a perfect day. The gelato station was a hit, offering a variety of flavors that delighted both young and old. It was the perfect way to cap off an evening filled with joy, love, and celebration.
Conclusion: A Day to Cherish
This wedding at The View at Mt. Adams was truly special. From the stunning views to the thoughtful details, every moment was a testament to the love shared between Nick & Josie. It was an honor to capture these memories, and I look forward to documenting many more love stories in the future.
