Shania & Colin’s Classic Barn Wedding in Bloomington, Indiana

Shania & Colin are probably the sweetest souls I have ever gotten the pleasure to photograph. You can tell this is true by the equally amazing group of people that stood up next to them in the bridal party. It was such a blast to photograph them around Bloomington, Indiana. The boys got ready at Graduate Hotel on Kirkwood & we made our way down the street to grab a pint at The Upstairs Pub before ending at the iconic Sample Gates. The girls were busy getting ready & sipping champagne at the wedding venue- Whippoorwill Hill. If you haven’t checked that venue out yet- I will let these photos do the talking. It’s the classic barn venue with leveled up features. I’ll probably never get over their twinkly lights. Honestly nothing beats a summer wedding when we can keep the big side doors open for lots of natural light & guests are playing cornhole on the patio (it truly doesn’t get much more ‘Hoosier’ than this).

The food was tasty, the toasts were heartwarming & hilarious, and the party was banging. What more could you want from a reception?? They ended their night with light up foam sticks which made for an even better dance floor and a unique exit tunnel. If I could rate this wedding day- I would give it 5 stars all around.
